External Price List - Customising the Price List

The report External price list is used to present your prices to your contacts.

The report can either be shown as a general price list without reference to discounts, or for a specific customer, with or without potential discounts for that customer. For both these reports display options of adjustments you are able to make, e.g. you can choose whether to display prices incl. or excl. VAT, show purchase prices or currency. These adjustments are stored and applied again later when you return to the report, e.g. for printing a price list for another customer.

By default, the report shows 2 columns on the report: Sales Price excl. VAT and Sales Price incl. VAT without discounts. However, you can adjust these as well and add more columns if you need to. The report can show up to 5 price columns.

How to add a column to the report

  1. Go to View - Product - Reports and select Product from the list on the left. Double-click on the report External price list.
  2. Click on New.
  3. Select which price you would like to add. This will be displayed in a new column on the report.
  4. Select as well whether the price should be shown with or without discounts, and possible exchange rates and rounding.
  5. Click OK.

The column will show on the list and will be included in the report next time you access is.

How to generate ’External price list’ report

  1. Go to View - Product - Reports and select Product from the list on the left. Double-click on the report External price list.
  2. Select a contact if you want to generate a contact-specific report. Enter the customer number for the contact you want to send the price list to in order to show individual discounted prices for this contact.

    You can also use the Search button to find the contact in the contact list. Select the required customer and click OK.
  3. Select, if you want, how you want to display products that have variations, the language for the report and whether you want to show product information in addition to the product name.

    Whether the report is to Show main product or Show all variations for variations can be crucial if you have different prices assigned to the variations. The product information is retrieved from the Product information tab in the Product register.
  4. Click OK.
  5. Make your selection for the products you want to show in the price list. The selection window is being used for several functions in the system. You can read more about it in a separate topic.
  6. Click OK.

The report is being printed.
