The SRV record is an abbreviation of Service. The SRV record relates to a particular service of the domain; it defines the location of servers for specific services.
If you are using Microsoft Office 365, a default SRV record will be created. If you edit this record, you are able to reset the original Microsoft Office 365 records by clicking on Update DNS Settings in the Microsoft Office 365 administration screen.
