The Customer List
View - Accounting - Customer ledger - Customer list
The Customer list shows the sum of all ledger items per customer. You can select whether you want to see a listing of all your customers, or a list for a given customer.
Additionally, you will be able place a selection for Open Items, Open items, Balance = 0 and Open items, Balance < 0 in the customer list. Using these criteria will make it easier to locate items that have not balanced against another.
Tip! By selecting View details at the top of the window, you will be able to see a detailed list showing which items form part of the balance for the current contact.
Note! Customers with a ledger that balances will not be included in this list, because there is no balance for the customers.
Processing items on the customer list
- Enter 0 in the Customer
field and click Update to display
all customers.

If you only want to display one customer; click on the search button to open the customer, select the customer and click OK. - Mark the customer you
wish to view items for.
Tip! If a symbol with a red cross is displayed beside the Customer field, then the customer's account is on hold. You can find this setting on the customer's contact card by going to the Settings tab and then selecting the Customer & Supplier button. The check box for Account on hold can be found under the Customer & Supplier Ledger tab under Customer. Please note that user access rights exists for this function. Read more in Creating Credit Limits and Account on Hold for a Customer. - Select the item you wish to process in the detailed list at the bottom of the window. The list is activated by selecting the Show details drop-down list in the toolbar.

- Enter Receipts/payments
- Edit item
- Go to invoice
- Go to journal
- Show scanned journal
- Match/link items
A new window will now open in accordance with what you selected in step 4. Click [F1] in the new window to get help regarding the functionality within that window.
Note! At the bottom of the window you can see a summary showing the Total outstanding, Current and Overdue amounts for the highlighted customer.
