Authentication code

An authentication code is a random alphanumeric key used by certain top-level domains (TLD) as a security mechanism when transferring a domain name from one registrar to another. It ensures that only the rightful domain owner can control the transfer of domain registration. This code is also knows as auth code and EPP code. The authentication code is linked to the WHOIS information.

Click on Authentication code to obtain an authentication code for the domain you have selected. The code helps to identify the domain name holder and it does not constitute transfer approval.

Note! In order to get an authentication code, the domain needs to be unlocked. Read more here.
