By clicking
on Update DNS Settings, you are
able to automatically update your domain's zone file with the domain record
settings required by Microsoft Office 365.
A zone file is a text file containing information about the different
Internet services of your domain name. The zone file contains a list of
DNS records that specify, for example, the domain name's name server or
the mail server information.
You are able to view some of these Microsoft Office 365 records under the CName and MX panels in the DNS administration screen. If changes are made to these and you wish to reset the original Microsoft Office 365 DNS settings, you are able to do so by clicking on Update DNS Settings.
Note! This
action overwrites all the existing records for Microsoft Office 365
within your zone file. Eventual changes will be lost.
