The Updating a Selection of Products function, acts as a wizard for simplifying the job of changing values in the product register. With this tool you can perform the job quicker without having to go through the entire product register manually.

Using this function, you can specify which fields are going to be changed and to which products the changes will apply.

To activate it, go to View - Product and Updating a selection of products.

Step 1 - Select which product fields are to be changed

In the first step of the wizard you decide which fields in the product card will be changed and which values this will affect.

Select the fields you want to change.

Note! Some fields in the product card cannot be changed by using this wizard.
Select new values from the drop down list to the right of the field you have selected.
Note! Set the value the product will have after the wizard has been completed.
Click Next to continue to the next step of the wizard where you select which products the changes will apply to.

Step 2 - Select the products which the changes are to apply to

Specify the Selection for the products you want to change.
Click Next to continue. You will see a list of the products to which the changes will apply.
Click Previous if you want to go back and define a new selection.
Click Complete to approve the selection and execute the changes to the selected products.
Note! This selection cannot be undone.
Click Close when the changes have been executed.

The products will be updated according to the selection made. This will be confirmed in the Product changes now complete screen.
