Product Register: The Web Shop Tab



Your web shop is directly linked to the Product register through the Web shop. Here you select whether a product will be available for sale within your web shop and what product information will be displayed.

Product Information in the Web Shop

Should be available for sale on one or more web sites: If you wish to sell a product within your web shop you must check this box in order to make the product available within the Items in your Web Shop list, under Product Selection.

Warehouse Information: From the Warehouse Info. drop down list, you can select if you want to display the products' stock levels within the web shop or if you want to display other types of information. If you select "Description" from the drop down list, you will be able to enter a description in the text field.

Description: If you select "Description" from the drop-down list Warehouse Information (see above), you will be able to enter your own warehouse information text in the field below.

Show graphics: Displays symbols in the web shop signifying different stock levels such as In stock, On order, Out of stock. You can select which symbols to use in the Web Site Settings in the Settings Web Shop tab.

Tip! In the company settings for product, in the Default Values tab, you can define Show graphics as activated by default for all new products.

Web Site List

Default Information: At the top of the web site list, Default information is displayed. Default information is not a web site, it gives you the possibility of registering the product's default web setting. By clicking the button Duplicate the web shop for product, you can, at a later time, copy the web shop to other web sites. The feature can be used if you wish to prepare your products for sale in the web shop before you have created and edited the web site.

Web Site Settings for Product: Opens the window Web Site Settings for Product window, where you are able to insert a product image as well as product descriptions. Read more here.

Note! If you have a licence for several web sites, you can vary the web site settings for a product on the web sites.

Duplicate the web shop for product: This button allows you to duplicate the web site settings defined for a product and apply them to other web sites (if any).

Active: Within the Active column, you can check the web sites on which the product will be available. You can check the box when the web site has been registered. If you want to delete a product from a web shop, uncheck the relevant boxes within the Active column. You must update the web site in order to remove the product from the web shop.

Last updated: Displays the time of the last update of the web shop.
