About System Requirements

The system requirements refer to the recommended minimum and the recommended requirements for a client/workstation and single-user installation. The recommendations refer to what we define as good enough to achieve an effective work day with our solutions. In some cases you may experience that the system also functions even though the recommended minimum requirements are not fulfilled.

More Information

* Home editions of the Windows operating system are not supported.

Microsoft® SQL Server® Express 2008 R2 is automatically installed with the program if another version of Microsoft SQL Server® is not already installed.

Microsoft® SQL Server® Express has size restrictions on the database: For SQL Server 2005 Express: 4 GB, 2008 Express, R2:10 GB, 2012 Express: 10 GB. For updated and complete information, refer to Microsoft's home page www.microsoft.com/express (external link).

Please be aware that the system requirements for Microsoft SQL Server must be met on the computer/server where the database is installed.
