Important settings

Before starting to use the program, you should think about which activity types and statuses you want to be available for Telemarketing. Certain activity types and statuses are predefined to appear in the Telemarketing module: you can open the Activity list Telemarketing window via View - Activity and then scroll through the Type and Status drop-down list to see which are already selected for Telemarketing.

If the predefined activity types and statuses do not fit your company's needs, you can assign new ones.

You can add more categories adapted to your company’s methods of following up customers and prospects.

Adding an activity type to the Telemarketing module

  1. Click View - Settings - Company - Properties Register - Activity types and click Edit.
    You will now see a list of all activity types defined both in the standard activity list and the telemarketing activity list.
  2. Select the activity type and click Edit.
    -or-
    If you wish to create a new activity type, then click New. Fill in a Description and select the options you wish to use.

  3. Select Telemarketing.
  4. Click OK.

The activity type will now be available in the Telemarketing module.

You can also create new activity statuses.

Adding an activity status to the Telemarketing module

  1. Click View - Settings - Company - Properties Register - Activity status and click Edit.


    You will now see a list of all activity statuses defined both in the standard activity list and the telemarketing activity list.
  2. Click New to create a new activity status.
  3. Fill in a name for the activity status, and select whether the status applies to a Completed activity.
  4. Click OK.

The activity status will now be available both in the standard activity list and in the Telemarketing module.
