About the Requirements

The system requirements are the recommended minimum requirements for running the program. The recommended requirements should be fulfilled in order to run the application effectively. The program may function even if the requirements have not been fulfilled.

Mer Information

Microsoft® SQL Server® Express is installed together with the program in server and single-user installations. Microsoft® SQL Server® Native Client is installed on the work station if another version of Microsoft SQL Server® has already been installed.

Use of Travel CRM functionality on the work station requires Microsoft® SQL Server® 2005 Express which is installed automatically when Travel CRM is taken into use.

Microsoft® SQL Server® 2008 is not compatible with version 12.5.

Please note that the computer/server on which the database is installed must conform to the system requirements for Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Work stations running Travel CRM functionality must also meet the system requirements.

It is not recommended to use Microsoft Vista Home Basic, Vista Home Premium or Windows 7 Home Premium.

The server recommendations assume exclusive use of Mamut Business Software. If the server is used for other purposes, the requirements should be altered accordingly.

Factors affecting server performance are number of simultaneous users, number of transactions in the database, and which edition of Microsoft SQL Server you are running.

Microsoft® Office 2010 is not compatible with version 12.5. Microsoft Office is required on the server computer only if Mamut Business Software will be used directly on the server.

The required disk space for single-user installations depends on the size of the database and the size of the document directory. The document directory is used to store document files, image files, report files and other information that is not a part of the database.

Mamut Support Centre cannot offer user support for problems pertaining to operating systems or third-party products within the network.
