In the quotation, order and purchase modules you have the option to overwrite the contact information so that you can give certain items their own delivery address or customer name.
Changes, which are being made to the Contact register after such an item has been created, will thus not be automatically transferred to the item.
However, you can still include changes from the Contact register by making use of the function for Updating contact information. This function checks for values in the Contact card, which have been changed after the order, quotation or purchase was created.
How to update the contact information for a quotation, order or purchase
Click on the Update contact information button in the toolbar.
Select which information you want to update.
Click on Update.
The item
is updated with information from the Contact register.
Note! This
function can only be used for items for which the status allows changes
to such information, e.g. order with the status 'Unprocessed order'
