(Willow) Ireland: Standard VAT rate change
The standard rate of VAT in Ireland will be increased from 21% to 23%, effective from the 1st of January 2012. Therefore, from the 1st of January 2012, the new rate should be used on all orders and invoices. Further details about this change can be found on the Irish Revenue (extern länk) site. Mamut will offer a simple tool to help assist you in making this change a smooth transition within your Mamut system. This tool will reset the default value, sort order, change the VAT rate on products and relevant accounts on the chart of accounts in the system and hide the old 21.5% codes in the journal entry.
You can read more about how Mamut will assist you in this transition at www.mamut.ie/vat (extern länk).
