The following information is designed to help you understand how to use the Mamut Validis system, by describing features which are common to most, if not all screens.

On some screens, the views show different, but related, information. For example, on the Accounting Rules and Trend Rules screens you can use the buttons at the top-right of the screen to change the rules being displayed, as follows:
.View Balance Sheet: Displays the rules
that only apply to your Balance Sheet.
.View Profit and Loss: Displays the rules that only apply to
your Profit and Loss.
.Both Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss: Displays
the rules that apply to both your Balance Sheet, and to your Profit and
Loss.

.Information:
Each pane on a Mamut Validis screen
has an information button. Clicking on this displays a brief description
of the current pane.
Expanding and collapsing the display
On many of the report screens, Mamut Validis initially displays a summary from where you can drill down to more detailed information. For example, the screen below shows part of a Trend Rules report:
Here, the initial display shows the rules that have been broken. However, more detailed information can be obtained by expanding a particular rule break.
Further detailed information, providing a list of individual transactions, is available by expanding each of the months displayed.
Once
you have finished viewing an expanded display, you can collapse it again,
by clicking on the appropriate buttons.
Using the what am I viewing options
On screens where results are listed, such as the Accounting Rules report screen, there is a drop-down menu included at the top of the list.
This drop-down menu allows you to filter the items that are displayed. The options are as follows:

Resolved issues - only displays issues which you have marked as "resolved".
View all issues - displays all issues.
