How to create a new contact in Mamut Online Desktop


..You can create new contacts anywhere and at any time with Mamut Online Desktop. Registrations made online, as well as locally within your system are continuously synchronised. Therefore, the business always has access to up-to-date information.

Create new contacts wherever you are and whenever you need to from Mamut Online Desktop. Remember that the registrations made via web browser and Mamut Online Desktop, as well as locally within your Mamut system, are continuously being synchronised. This means that the business always has access to up-to-date information.

How to register a new contact

  1. Go to Work areas - Contact and then click on New contact,
          -or-
    click on the information box New Contact placed on the bottom of the Contact work area screen.

  2. Enter the contact's name in the top field.

  3. Enter the contact's address, telephone number and e-mail address. Select an employee from your company under Our reference.

  4. Set the contact type and select from the drop-down lists the status, line of business, category and contact status.

  5. In the tab Additional you can register additional information regarding project, VAT, currency, payment terms or discounts.

  6. Click on Save and close,
          -or-
    click on Save and new if you wish to register another contact.

. The contact is now created.

Tip! Contacts can be linked to a contact person. Registering contact persons makes it easier for you to locate the person you wish to contact or refer to in different situations. Click on Contact person to register a contact person towards one of your contacts.
