Mamut Validis automatically creates your user profile when you sign up for your Mamut Validis account. Your profile contains both your personal and company details and defines the accounting data from Mamut Business Software that you want to work with.
The static data held in a profile
Your profile settings reflect the details you supplied when your Mamut Validis profile was first created, or any changes you have made to this information subsequently. This information includes:
The profile name.
Brief notes for the profile - you can use these to record the purpose of the analysis. For example, if your analysis is a pre-audit check, you can add this to the Notes section so that it is recorded on the profile.
The country location.
Your company type.
You can edit or change this information at any time.
The rule information held in a profile
The Mamut Validis profile holds information on both accounting rules and trend rules. Mamut Validis allows you to view, edit and manage the rules in order to switch individual rules on or off; to define the relative importance of each rule, for example High, Medium, or Low and finally to define the level at which the rule is to be applied. For example, against monthly data, against quarterly data, or against annual data.
