Advanced Selection: The Extended Tab

The Extended tab contains the same fields as the Standard tab, but in addition you can also apply Open parentheses and Close parentheses, which help you to separate or group the criteria. Using these parentheses is similar to the process for creating mathematical expressions (see Filters: Example of an Advanced Selection

Note! Using Open and Close parentheses for selections is only relevant if you have three of four lines with different contents in the main Advanced tab.
