Getting started with sales forecast

The sales forecast functionality for quotations is enabled by default. If you would like to use this functionality with your sales orders, you need to select it separately.

You are able to enable/disable these settings under View - Settings - Company Settings - Settings per module - Sales and Invoicing - General - The company uses sales forecast on sales orders  and The company uses sales forecast on quotations. Read more about this tab in Company Settings for Sales and Invoicing.

The next step is to register the probability of sale on the quotations and/or sales orders that you create. This is done through the drop-down list Probability of sale placed on the quotation/order head. Read more about the field on The Sales/Invoicing Register.

Once you have started registering the probability of sale, a chart of the sales forecast will be displayed in Status focus area in Mamut Business Software. Read more in The sales forecast list.

Tip! Press F5 or the update button in order to update the content of the chart.

Adapt the functionality to your needs

You are able to edit and create new sales statuses through the Properties Register. You can have as many statuses as you want, but you are only able to have 5 active ones. Read more about the Properties Register in Company Settings for the Properties Register.
