You use a wizard to define which activities are to be changed by means of a selection. You can then select one or more parameters to be changed, and set new values for these fields. This may prove useful if you are to reallocate responsibility for the activities of a customer service agent who no longer works for the company, postpone a project etc.
Step 1
The wizard opens.
Click Next.
Step 2
Make a selection of the activities to be changed.
The selection may be changed in the next step, but it is recommended that you make as careful a selection as possible.
Click OK.
Step 3
Adjust the selection by un-checking activities for which you do not wish to change values.
Click Next.
Step 4
Select the values to be changed and set new values using the drop-down lists.
If you have selected to change several activities, you can set a random distribution of activities over several customer service agents. Read more about this here.
Click Next.
Step 5
To make it easier to check the selection, you can print a report of the activities to be changed, along with their old values.
Step 6
Click Complete to change the activity/activities. If you wish to adjust the selection, you can go back into the wizard by clicking Previous.
You can also print another report of the changed activities, this time with the new values.
Step 7
This step only applies when there is an inconsistency in the start or finish times.
If you have only changed the start time without changing the end time, or vice versa, it can happen that the end time is before the start time. You can now choose between updating the old time in relation to the new, or to exclude the current activities from the update.
Click Continue.
You now print a report, as described in point 6, with the latest changes, before the changes are implemented.
