Settings - Settings Web
In Settings web you set the following website settings:
Currency symbol: The Currency code for all amounts will be the same as the currency you selected for your company database in Company database settings - Company settings and Financial settings.
The Time format can be set to a 24-hour system ('13:00', '14:00' etc.) or by a 12-hour system (1 PM, 2 PM etc).
Date format: Select the appropriate format from the drop-down list.
Passive transfer is selected if the network settings or the Internet connection demands it. Some network setups and ADSL- suppliers demand communication with FTP in passive mode, this may create problems in terms of publishing network places.
Use website/webshop should be selected if you do not wish to use the website but only the webshop. From the drop-down list below, you will be able to select if your registered area will link to your Mamut webshop or to an external domain.
Sitemap: Here, you are able to select if you would like a link to a sitemap on your website. A Sitemap is a separate website which contains information regarding categories, content along with all web pages contained within your website. Viewing of the sitemap on your website will help both visitors and the search engine to gain a better overview of the contents of your website.
Note! Sitemap is developed according
to the standards for search engine optimisation. Mamut uses xml-based
sitemap index files to index all customers' websites. These indexes are
automatically and regularly submitted to Google, so the user does not
need to think about it. Furthermore, xml-based sitemaps are used by other
big search engines such as MSN, Yahoo and Ask.
