Getting started with the Visma Mobile Scanner app
When you have done all the preparations in Mamut Business Software, you have to download the app from Google Play or App Store and log in to the service and start using it. The app is free of charge and the only thing that might cost is when transferring data, depending on what agreement you have with your phone company.
Preconditions
- Activate the service from Mamut Business Software. Read more in Activate/inactivate Visma Mobile Scanner integration
- Register a mobile user from Mamut Business Software. Read more in Activate/inactivate Visma Mobile Scanner integration
- Download the app from Google Play or App Store to your smartphone.
Uploading your pictures
Follow the steps below to upload your pictures.
- Start the app Visma Scanner from your smartphone.
- Click .
- Select Mamut Business Software as your accounting system.
- Log in to the service by entering your email address and password created in Mamut Business Software.
- Click .
- Select the company you wish to send the image to.
- This will start up the camera on your smart phone. Click on the camera icon and take a picture of your document. You can edit your picture or chose to take another if you wish.
- Click on the icon .
- Select between Invoice and Receipt accordingly. In this screen you can also add notes.
- Click .
- At this point you are back to the overview of what you have sent and can take new pictures if you need.
- If you wish to add a comment at this point, you will have to send the picture again.
Within a few second you will be able to see the result of this uploading in your Mamut Business Software Journal entry or Salary registration from Visma Mobile Scanner. If you had either of these screens open when you started the upload, you may have to refresh the screen by clicking in the screen for . Read more in The Journal Entry Window.
All your transferred images will be archived in the Archive tab of the Visma Mobile Scanner, even failed transfers. Those will be listed under Not synchronized images whereas your successful transfers will be listed by the transfer date. All images can be resent from here. Select one of them and then select the Send button.
