Activate/inactivate Visma Mobile Scanner integration

Visma Mobile Scanner is an app to your smartphone. Use it to take pictures of your receipts or invoices, save and send them digitally to Mamut Business Software. By using the app, you reduce the risk of forgetting receipts.

In order to use the service you need to set up your system correctly and accept terms and conditions for the Visma Mobile Scanner integration.

User access

You need to be a Super user or have your Super user to grant access to Visma Mobile Scanner by creating an access template with the necessary functions. The Super user needs to select all functions that contain Visma Mobile Scannerin the following groups:

How to activate Visma Mobile Scanner

  1. Go to View - Settings - Accounting - Integration.
  2. Click the Visma Mobile Scanner icon.
  3. In the wizard that opens, agree to the terms and conditions and click Next.
  4. Read the information in the next step and click Complete to finish the activation.

You have now successfully activated the Visma Mobile Scanner integration and you can start downloading the app from Google Play or App Store.

Tip! You can also activate the service through the Journal Entry. Once activated the icon will disappear from the toolbar.

How to register a mobile user

You need to sign up to the Visma Mobile Scannerservice in order to use the app. To make it easy you will use your e-mail address and the password registered in Mamut Business Softwarein order to log in to the service. If you have created a new user, you must create these credentials before signing up.

  1. Go to View - Settings - User and open the Services tab.
  2. Check that the user is linked to an employee and that the e-mail field has a valid address.
  3. If it is a new user, link the user to an employee by using the drop down list and Create employee, and fill out the e-mail address in the field below. Enter a password as well. Click the Save button in the upper left corner of the window.
  4. Click the Register button next to Register mobile user and confirm the message.

You have now successfully registered a user to the Visma Mobile Scanner service and are now ready to take full advantage of the integration by start using the app.

How to disable a mobile user

  1. Go to View - Settings - User and open the Services tab.
  2. Click the Disable button next to Disable mobile user and confirm the message.

You have now disabled the user from the Visma Mobile Scanner service.

How to inactivate Visma Mobile Scanner

  1. Go to View - Settings - Accounting and open the Integration tab.
  2. Click the Visma Mobile Scanner icon.
  3. Answer Yes to the message that appears.

You have now inactivate the Visma Mobile Scanner integration.
