Update Wizard - Select Database Server
The installation program searches for earlier versions of the program, and starts the update wizard with the first time startup of the program after the new version is installed.
Read more about installing the program in About Installation.

Select Database Server
Generally, you are able to click Next in this window without changing anything.
Server/Instance
Single-user Installation: With the single-user installation the server will normally be called <(local)> with <Mamut> as the instance.
Multi-user Installation: The users who install on the server can check that the system has chosen the correct database server. The system normally finds the database server. You can search for the server by clicking Search. The search button will display a list of available SQL servers on the network. If there are multiple instances on the server you select, you will be asked to select the instance.
Path to the Document Directory
Single-user Installation: Select the document directory is for saving documents and other files. The document directory is generally set when you install the program, or update to version 12.
Multi-user Installation: In a multi-user installation this area will be shared for all of the users. It is therefore important that all users have access. The access to the area must be set in the operative system. Read more in How to share the Document Directory.
Note! In a multi-user installation the file path you enter must be a network path, for example \\SERVERNAME\Mamut. The example assumes that the folder <Mamut> is shared in the network. If the <Data> folder is shared, the file path will be as follows: \\SERVERNAME\Data.
