Activating your Mamut eZ Publish account


In order to get started with Mamut eZ Publish, you are required to activate your account. The activation consists of a two step wizard. In the first step, you are required to enter information about your website and about the administrator. The second step is a summary, where you are able to confirm the data you entered in order to fulfil the procedure.

Note! Only administrators are able to activate the Mamut eZ Publish account. The Administrator in myMamut is automatically suggested as the administrator in Mamut eZ Publish.

How to activate your Mamut eZ Publish account

  1. Click Products in the top menu.

  2. Select the domain through the radio buttons, in case you have more than one.

  3. Click Start using Mamut eZ Publish.

  4. First fill out the information regarding your website. Select the language you intend to use on your website from the corresponding drop-down list. Note that the selected language cannot be changed afterwards.

  5. In the Hostname field, enter the hostname you would like to use for your website, for example www.

  6. Fill in the information regarding the administrator. The first name, surname and the e-mail/username of the administrator in myMamut will be automatically suggested.
    The e-mail will be your username when logging into Mamut eZ Publish. To make it easy for yourself, we recommend that you use your Mamut ID.

  7. Create a password and reenter it in the corresponding field. The password must be at least 4 characters, not exceed 20 characters, and must include at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, and one numeric digit.

  8. Click Next in order to get to the second step of the wizard.

  9. Double check that all of the information you have entered is correct. In case you need to edit the information, click on Previous and update it.

  10. Click Finish to complete the wizard and activate Mamut eZ Publish.

Your Mamut eZ Publish account will now be activated.

Tip! Once the activation is complete, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. You are able to check the status through the Contract information screen.

Once you have received confirmation via e-mail that your service has been activated, you are able to refresh the status of your contract and access the administration menu by clicking the Activate icon; that is if you have not logged out of myMamut since you ran the activation wizard.
