This is a part of the wizard for the creation of a new company database during the first-time startup or when you when you create a new company database later on.
What does your company sell/invoice?
In this step you can define whether your company sells mainly products, services or both. What you enter here will determine the following wizard steps regarding information about products, warehouses and time sheet registrations.
Products: If your company does not sell services, this is the option you should select.
Services: If your business mainly sells its services, this is the option you should select.
Services and products: If your company is selling both products and services, you should select this option.
Company keeps products in stock: Tick this box if you would like to use the Warehouse functionality in the Product register. This settings can also be made after the first-time startup if you decide to start stocking items at a later stage. You will find this setting again in the Company Settings for Product.
Next step
The next step in the wizard for the creation of a new company database depends on the above selections you have made. The settings are an excerpt from the Company Settings for the database. You can click on Help to open the relevant help window for the step you are in.
