The Status Focus Area on the Desktop

The Status focus area gives you a quick overview over your key business figures.

Cash Flow

The display of your future cash flow shows you your current cash holdings based on the amount of money going in and out of your business in the form of revenue and payment registration in the program. The cash flow is calculated by multiplying the totals for your Bank and Petty Cash accounts in the chart of accounts, as well as expected customer payments, other receivable payments, payments to suppliers and other out-payments. The information box on the desktop shows a graphic representation of the future cash flow. The Cash Flow button acts as a shortcut to the function.

You can read more about how to set up the display for future cash flow here.

Finances, Sales and Logistics

Here, too, you are presented with key figures that are retrieved from other parts of the program. Please note that you will also find shortcuts to two reports under Finances.

You can replace the pre-defined information boxes with other by right-clicking on one of them and selecting Adjust, or by opening the Desktop user settings.

The Company status button

Clicking on the company status button will open the Company status window, which compares current key figures to budget and actual figures for the previous year.

The desktop can be customised so that every focus area contains the information and shortcuts that best match your program usage. Refer to the below links for information on how to adjust the desktop to your needs.
