This functionality applies to those users operating a web shop in Mamut.
You can create and edit customer status files by e-mail. When an order changes status, for example once it has been invoiced and the web site has been updated via the Get web site data function, the customer is given a personal order page on the Internet containing the order status for current and previous orders. This means that the web shop is fully integrated with the order, product and contact modules. The customer receives a link to this page by e-mail. You can determine the content of this e-mail in the customer status files settings.
The settings for customer status files can be found in under the module settings for Contact management. You can also reach the settings via the Edit web site - Menu shortcut.
How to get started with customer status files
Go to View - Settings
- Company - Settings per Module - Contact Management and
then click on the Advanced button and thereafter on the Status File Settings button.
Select which information should be included in the customer status
files. Read
more about this here.
Ensure that you have registered a sender address. Sender addresses are required and are retrieved from the E-mail field in the top half of View - Settings - Company.
Select which customers you would like to receive customer
status files. The settings for this are situated in the Contact card under
the Settings tab. Click on the Customer
button and select Yes or
No from the Auto
generate status file drop-down list.
Note! By default this field
is set to Yes for all customers.
Tip! You can update large
selections of customers with the help of the Change
values for a selection of contacts
function.
Enter a title for the e-mail to be sent to the customer. This is done by going to View - E-Commerce -Get web site data, clicking on e-mail and entering a title. You can also enter text at the top and bottom of the e-mail. The title is required in order for you to be able to send the customer any files. What you enter here will be saved until the next time you run the wizard.
You have now got everything ready for sending the customer status files. These can be sent manually or as part of the Get web site data routine.
