This tab will only show if you have a licence for the additional product Mamut Enterprise Partner Web.
You can offer your customers to create their own user account, with a user name and password for accessing your web site. Registered customers can view discounted prices available to them and do not have to enter information every time they shop.
In this window you select which parts of the web site will be password protected, and whether customers will be able to create their own user account.
Password selection
No password protection: All customers have access to your entire web site without having to register as a user.
Password protection of the whole web site: When the users opens your web site in the browser, they will be prompted to enter user name and password, or register as a user.
Password protection of the web shop only: All customers have access to the web site when they open in their web browser. Customers are asked to enter a user name and password, or to register as a user before entering the web shop area. All prices in the web shop will be displayed along with any discounts available to the customer.
Voluntary login in check out: All customers have access to the web site and the web shop, but may register as a user before placing an order. Customers are asked to enter user name and password (or to register as a user).
Approval of new users
When you select one of the alternatives that is activated by a password, you must decide on procedures for Approval of new users. The following options are available:
Users must be manually approved by the web site owner: Registration of a new user is processed as an application, which you downloaded from Get web site data. The user receives an E-mail saying that application must be approved by the web site owner. Once you have approved an application, the customer receives an E-mail confirming that the account can be used.
Users are automatically approved following registration: All customers are automatically approved and immediately have access to the web site after registration. They also receive an E-mail to confirm this.
Users may only be created by the web site owner: Only customers who are manually created by the web site owner in the Contact register can log on to the service. The users can not register as users directly from the web site.
All status changes for users of the web site are communicated by E-mail. You can specify who will be the Sender of e-mails containing registration information.
You can also select to Receive a copy of this E-mail if you want to keep track of the messages customers receive from you.
In cases where customers can register as users, you can select to Show link to 'Create user' from the main page menu.
