Synchronising with the Main Database in Mamut Enterprise Travel CRM


How to synchronise your pocket PC with the main database

  1. Start the program on your computer while you have access to the main database. After logging on, you will receive a message that the program has found the main database.

  2. Answer Yes to connect to the main database.

  3. Click Next to synchronise the databases. If you have specified that conflicts will be resolved automatically, you will be taken to the window in point 7 where you can print a report of what has been synchronised.

  4. Click Resolve conflicts to resolve any conflicts manually. You will be informed how many conflicts that exist within the different modules.

  1. Select what you wish to transfer to the main database in the screen that appears and click Complete once you have finished.

  2. Click Next to synchronise the changes you have selected.

  3. Click Print a report on synchronised fields to view a preview of the report.

  4. Click Complete.

The program will close and automatically restart connected to the main database.

Note! Conflict resolution: In the synchronisation settings you can decide whether you want to solve conflicts automatically, or manually. If you have chosen to resolve problems manually you can do so one-by-one. If you have selected the automatic problem solving option the program will take care of this in line with your settings.
