Importing Budget Data

When you want to enter your budget numbers you can do so with the help of a wizard where you can choose whether you wish to retrieve data from actual accounting figures of from a previous year's budget, and then have the option to adjust the figures up or down by percentage. If you would like to draw up a budget from scratch without basing it on previous figures of budgets, you can of course do so. You can also fine-tune the numbers even down to account/period level, after the budget has been set up.

You can import budget data when you create a new budget or by opening an existing budget and clicking on the Import button.

Empty budget

The budget is being created without any figures.

Get data from actual financial figures

You will import actual figures for an accounting year you pick yourself, the previous one, for example. You can adjust the figures by percentage points. Read more in How to create a new budget based on actual financial figures.

Get data from an existing budget

You will import figures from a budget that has been set up already. Here, too, you are able to adjust the figures by percentage points. Read more in How to create a new budget based on an existing budget.
