Intrastat Registration

There are two ways in Mamut to access the Intrastat Registration window; either via Journal Entry or from the menu View - Accounting - Intrastat. To be able to access the window from Journal Entry, you need to have selected this option in the Intrastat Settings. The Intrastat Report is created from the Intrastat Registration window. Use this as the basis for your Intrastat reporting.

Intrastat reporting must be activated in the Intrastat Settings.

In the Status drop-down list in the Intrastat Registration window you can see the selections you have made in the Intrastat Settings: Import, Export or both. Please be careful to select the correct Status before entering transactions. You can also select Month and Year.

If you have chosen to automatically access the Intrastat Registration window from Journal Entry, you will be able to view those transactions from the same window.

How to enter an Intrastat transaction

Click New.
Select Status and Intrastat date. The Intrastat date will decide for which reporting period/month the transaction is entered.
Click New.
Enter the Intrastat code. Intrastat codes may also be entered for reference at product level in the Product Register.
Select Country, Transaction type and any other applicable information.
Click OK.

When all transactions for a reporting period have been entered, you can create an Intrastat report.
