Working with your Calendar


In order to enter a new event in the calendar, you must be logged in as the administrator.

How to enter a new event

  1. Navigate to the calendar where you wish to add an event.

  2. Select Event from the drop-down list in the eZ Publish Administration menu and click Create here.

  3. In the screen that opens, enter the relevant information in the following fields:



    Title
    : Enter a title for the event.
    Text
    : Enter all necessary information regarding the event.
    Category
    : You have the possibility to categorise your events.
    Event start time
    : Here you can choose if the event is a normal or full day event. Enter the start date and time as well as the end date and time in the respective fields.
    Recurrence
    : You can also define your events as recurring on a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. You can limit the recurring event by defining an end date or number of recurrences.
    Google Map
    : If you have activated the Google Maps feature in Control panel - Site Settings, you can display a Google Map in your calendar event. Simply enter the address in the field above the map and click Find address. You can also select location by clicking directly on the map or entering latitude and longitude.     File
    : Click Browse in order to upload a file related to the calendar event.

  4. Click Publish to save the changes.

Your calendar will now be updated.

How to change your event

  1. Locate the event you wish to change.

  2. Click Edit in the administration menu.

  3. Then make the necessary change.

Click Publish in order to update your calendar.

How to remove an event

  1. Locate the event you wish to remove.

  2.  Click Remove in the administration menu.

The event has now been removed.
