The Customer Ledger List

The Customer ledger list is an entry list that provides a overview of all entries made against your customers. The customer ledger list also shows the statuses of the various items in your accounts. In the user settings you can define which columns you want displayed and the number of filter criteria and statuses you want made available to you in the Customer ledger list.

How to find unpaid sales invoices past their due date:

  1. Select Open in the first drop-down list on the ledger list card.
  2. Select Invoices - Due from the second drop-down list on the ledger list card.
  3. Enter 0 (zero) in the third drop-down list and click Update to view all customers. If you only want one to display:
    1. Open the Customer list
    2. Select the customer.
    3. Click OK.
  4. Choose an invoice you wish to have a closer look at. Select from toolbar drop-down list Show details to activate the ledger list. The Ledger list will reveal whether other items are linked to the invoice you selected from the top card. All these items can be processed further.
  5. Select the item you want processed from the detailed list at the bottom of the card.
  6. Choose whether to:
    1. Register
    2. Receipts/payments
    3. Edit Item
    4. Go to invoice
    5. Go to journal
    6. Match/Link items

Note! At the bottom of the window you can see a summary showing the Total outstanding, Current and Overdue amounts for the highlighted customer.
