When we release a recommended update of the program, or when a required update is available, you will receive a notification before logging into the program. The notification will not start the update, but will guide you to the download area where you can find more information about the new version, the update guide and the actual download file.
Note! Before
commencing the update, you need to keep in mind that this should only
be done by the administrator. Furthermore, if you are running a multi-user
installation, this should be done on the server first. Read the update
guide carefully before commencing the update. More information about updating your program can be found in Updating to a New Version
The available updates are divided into two types:
Recommended update: A new version has been launched, but does not contain changes that are required at this point. Via the link to the download page, you can read more about the changes in the program and decide whether or not to install the new version. However, we always recommend that you install the latest version.
Required update: A new version has been launched and needs to be installed as soon as possible in order for you to be able to continue using the program. Required updates often contain changes that have been made to meet the government requirements, such as changes in VAT and other regulations. An update is also required when your version is no longer supported. All versions will automatically expire after two years.
Tip! Besides updates in the program
version, the software provider will update the system files every now
and then. These updated or new system files are small changes within the
system and will be available via File
- Database utilities - Download system files. Please note that
this function is only available for the system administrator/super user
and should only be used when the software provider has informed you about
