How to disconnect and create a local database in Mamut Enterprise Travel CRM

  1. Open Mamut Business Software and select File and click Work in offline mode.

  2. Select which documents you want to include in the synchronisation of the local database. Remember it can take a long time to disconnect from the main database if there are large quantities of data and documents can take up a lot of space. Read more about the different options for documents below.

  1. Click Next and wait until the program has finished copying the database locally.

  2. Click Complete and Mamut Business Software will close.

  3. Start Mamut Business Software.

At startup you will be alerted to the fact that you are in offline mode.  [Offline mode] will appear in the title bar at the top to indicate this.

More about documents

If you have a portable unit with small space or if you want synchronisation to run as fast as possible, you can select to include My Documents only or No Documents at all.

All documents includes documents that others have stored in the database, while My documents are those you created yourself (Created by) as well as those with your name as Author or Our ref.

Many users discover that they have no need for any documents when they work in offline mode. If this is the case, select No documents. The process of creating a local database will go much faster.

The selection you define here will be remembered later so that next time you disconnect from the main database your previous selection will be suggested as a pre selected option.
