Connecting and synchronising with the Main Database in Mamut Enterprise Travel CRM

If you have previously disconnected from the main database and then restart the program with access to the main database, you will be asked if you want to connect to the main database and synchronise changes and new data from the local copy.

If the same data is changed in both the main and local database, a conflict will arise regarding which data to keep. The settings you have made for resolving conflicts will determine what is retained and what is discarded. All changes that do not create conflicts will be synchronised.

If you have chosen to resolve this manually in the settings for synchronisation, you will be given the option to resolve any conflicts one by one. If you have selected to resolve conflicts automatically, the program will manage this by using the settings you have set. More information about the synchronisation settings can be found here.

How to connect and synchronise Travel CRM with the main database

  1. Start the program on your computer while you have access to the main database. After logging in, you will receive a message that the program has found the main database.

  2. Answer Yes to connect to the main database. If you answer No you will remain in offline mode.

  3. Click Next to synchronise the databases. If you have specified that conflicts will be resolved automatically, you will be taken to the window in point 7.

  4. If you have specified that conflicts will be resolved manually, click Resolve conflicts. You will now be informed about the conflicts that exist within the different modules.

  1. Select what you wish to transfer to the main database and click Complete once you have finished.

  2. Click Next to synchronise the changes you have selected.

  3. Click Complete.

The program will close and automatically restart connected to the main database. The local database can no longer be accessed.
