Mamut Enterprise Travel CRM

Mamut Enterprise Travel CRM provides you with increased flexibility through enabling you to work on your laptop while away from the office. It allows you to take information with you and edit it while out travelling, with customers, away on holiday or when you are at the office but not connected to the Internet.

This functionality allows you to work in offline mode from the main database and take a copy of the database with you. While you are in offline mode, the local copy of the database can still be used but with limited functionality, while the main database is available as normal to the remaining users. When you connect to the main database again, the changes and new data on the local database are synchronised with the main database.

The benefits of Mamut Enterprise Travel CRM

For companies that have multiple users of the system who are working both in and out of the office, it is simple to update information during data transfer, even if changes have been made by several employees. In the main system, you can see which users are working in offline mode at any given time. When updating values, you have full control before you implement the automatic transfer process. You avoid duplicate entries by choosing whether to keep the data stored in the main or local database, the fields most recently updated or whether you will decide which conflicting values are kept.

Easy to get started

You can easily get started using Mamut Enterprise Travel CRM. Simply connect to the database that you would like to work offline from and establish the synchronisation settings, you are then ready to work in offline mode. Note that once you are in offline mode, you cannot modify the synchronisation settings.

Note! You can have as many users working in offline mode as user licences you have.

Which data can I access in offline mode?

Not all modules can be accessed in offline mode and of those available, not all functionality is available.

Note! Quotations and orders created in the main database can only be read. In addition, it's advisable to use the Note field on orders created in offline mode as the order number will change when it's synchronised with the main database.

Limitations in Mamut Enterprise Travel CRM

If you have several company databases, please be aware that you can only copy one company database locally.

If you test this functionality using the example database, please be aware that changes introduced in the local copy of the example database will not be synchronised.

The local database copy is created when you select File &endash; Work in offline mode. After working in offline mode, once you have connected and synchronised with the main database, the local database can no longer be accessed. In order to work in offline mode again, you need to complete the procedure of selecting File &endash; Work in offline mode once again. Read more about this procedure here.

Due to the limitations in data transfer rates, we do not recommend connecting to the main database using VPN, a Dial-up, or any other limited or unstable Internet connections. The amount of data transferred requires a very fast and exceptionally stable connection, such as an internal office network connection.
