Synchronisation Details


If the same data is changed in both the main database and the local copy, a conflict arises when the data from the local database are synchronised with the main one. Under Synchronisation Settings you can define how this type of conflict is resolved.

All changes that do not create conflicts are synchronised anyway.

Specific information about changing and deleting data

Contacts can be read, edited and new ones created, but deleting is not synchronised.

Company contacts can be read, edited and new ones created, but deleting is not synchronised.

Products can be read but not changed.

Activities can be read, edited, deleted and new ones created. If an activity has been edited in the main database, and is deleted in the local copy, this will not take effect in the main database.

Documents can be read, edited, deleted and new ones created. If a document has been edited in the main database, and is deleted in the local copy, this will not take effect in the main database.

Quotations created in the local copy can be changed, annulled and transferred to orders. Quotations created in the main database can only be read.

Orders created in the local copy can be changed and annulled, but not invoiced. Orders created in the main database can only be read.

Invoices can be read, but not changed or credited.

Projects can only be read.

Notes that are changed for contacts, contact persons, activities and documents will be merged at synchronisation so that no changes are lost.
