Setting up users to access the Mobile Service


Once you have added employees and users, and the users' passwords have been set, the following instructions MUST be followed to enable users to access the mobile service.

The mobile solution in Mamut ServiceSuite must be configured before use. To use this service, a mobile device that is capable of connecting to the Internet must be used. Please check the specification of your device in the manufacturer’s documentation if you are unsure of the capabilities of your device.

How to set up users to access the Mobile Service

  1. From the Main menu select the Settings drop-down bar - Settings - Users. The Users window will now be displayed.

  2. Highlight the user who requires access to the mobile service, and then click Edit User within the top toolbar, to display the Edit User window.

  3. In the Rights section, below the Edit user section, click on the Internet tab. Tick the box Can login to ServiceSuite on the Internet. Please make a note of the activation key listed below the check box, as this must be entered online in order to log in successfully.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Repeat this step for each user who requires mobile and Internet access to Mamut ServiceSuite.

The user has now been setup to use Mamut ServiceSuite on the Internet.
