The Authentication Mode must be set to 'Mixed'

Microsoft SQL Server can operate in two authentication modes. The authentication mode determines how users are allowed to connect to an SQL Server instance. Mamut Business Software requires that the authentication mode is set to Mixed Mode (SQL Server and Windows Authentication Mode). If you have manually installed the SQL Server before, or have installed Mamut Point of Sale prior to installing Mamut Business Software, the authentication mode might be incorrect, thus causing this error.®

Resolving the error

As it is not possible to install Mamut Business Software when the Authentication Mode is not set correctly, you need to cancel the installation by clicking Next and then Finish in the installation wizard. We strongly recommend that you contact Mamut Support Centre via support@mamut.co.uk support@mamut.co.ukor 020 7153 0900 (from 9 am - 4 pm all weekdays). Be sure to mention this error when contacting the Mamut Support Centre. They will send you a script which will resolve the issue.

Alternatively, your system administrator may change the Authentication Mode in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, or manually give all users the proper access. Please note that this may only be done by advanced users with extended experience with Microsoft SQL Server. More information regarding changing the Authentication Mode can be found on Microsoft's website.
